$70,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr
Are you an experienced accounting professional with 2+ years of full-cycle accounting experience looking to make a career jump? A leading engineering company in St. Louis County is hiring a Senior Accountant for an onsite direct hire opportunity!
What You'll Do as Senior Accountant:
* Oversee the month-end close process, including preparing journal entries, accruals, and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations.
* Ensure accurate and timely monthly commission calculations and reporting.
* Collaborate with external auditors to fulfill audit requests and maintain compliance with required deadlines.
* Work closely with the Controller and CFO.
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
* A minimum of 2+ years of full-cycle accounting experience, preferably in an engineering or project-based environment.
* Familiarity with ERP systems, such as Epicor or Business Central, is highly desirable.
* Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and analytical capabilities to support company initiatives.
