About the Role
We're seeking a talented Interior Designer to join our growing team. You'll work closely with our Senior Designers and operations team, taking ownership of projects and collaborating with contractors, suppliers, and clients. Key Responsibilities
* Manage small-to-medium interior design projects (residential/commercial).
* Liaise with contractors, trades, and suppliers; attend site visits.
* Create moodboards, concept visuals, and client presentations.
* Support project management: schedules, budgets, and documentation.
* Use AutoCAD and SketchUp (or equivalent) for design development.
* Manage and develop internal systems for tracking project progress
* Work with finance on the ordering, delivery and payment of stock from suppliers
* Material and Supplier Management: Actively research, select, and specify all materials, finishes, and furniture, ensuring they meet client brief, quality standards, and budget constraints.
* Quality Assurance: Conduct site inspections and final project walk-throughs, creating and managing a snag list to ensure all fit-out work meets the approved design and high-quality standards.
* Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all design plans and specifications adhere to relevant building codes, health and safety regulations, and industry standards in Ireland.
* Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary design point of contact for clients and property partners, managing expectations, communicating progress, and securing formal sign-off on design stages.
* Design Trend Research: Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of current interior design and residential market trends, integrating innovative and competitive solutions into BTR and PRS project designs.
Requirements
* Experience: 3+ years in interior or spatial design.
* Education: Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or similar.
* Technical Skills: AutoCAD, SketchUp (or equivalent), Microsoft Excel.
* Soft Skills: Strong presentation, communication, project coordination and stakeholder management
Bonus: Revit experience, project management certification, NCIDQ or similar.
