Overview
Electrical Technician – Location: TU Dublin Grangegorman, Dublin 7; Salary Up to €49,000; This is a fixed term role for 6 months.
As an Electrical Technician at Sodexo in Dublin 7, you are a vital member of our Integrated Facilities Management team. Your expertise ensures a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for our client. Your work will contribute to maintaining excellence and sustainability in our operations.

Responsibilities
* Perform maintenance and reactive tasks on various electrical building services equipment.
* Conduct scheduled maintenance on electrical systems and fixtures.
* Oversee Life Safety Systems (LSS) and collaborate with associated vendors.
* Support sustainability efforts by managing energy consumption effectively.
* Coordinate with external contractors for maintenance and repairs.
* Plan and execute minor installations and improvement projects.
* Perform cost and delivery assessments in line with Sodexo procurement procedures.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols, including risk assessments and lock-out tag-out processes.
* Take ownership of task completion, ensuring timely and high-quality results.
* Collaborate with the Tech Team to support diverse responsibilities.
Qualifications
* At least 3 years of experience in electrical building services and plant maintenance.
* Level 6 NQAI Certificate in Electrical Craft Practice (or equivalent).
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Exceptional customer focus and a proactive, positive attitude.
* Proficiency in numeracy and computer literacy.
* Full, clean driver’s license.
