We are actively seeking experienced Quantity Surveyors to become an integral part of our team. Do you have experience in Estimating and Quantity Surveying? Quantity Surveyor time split between Head Office and Project Sites Responsibilities Manage costs on projects working closely with Contract Managers, Site Management and Accounts teams Liaising and negotiation with clients Quantity Surveyors and representatives Take off measurement for site materials Remeasurement of sub-contractors including Payments and Final Accounts. Good record keeping for reference points on subsequent related projects. Preparation & submission of monthly valuations Preparation & submission of compensation events/ variations On occasion preparation & measurement of Bills of Quantities for tendering To participate and support all Company initiatives with compliance of procedures and requirements for ISO, & Safe T certification Any other duties conducive to the effective operation of the post which the Company deem to be within the post holders competence. Qualifications/Skills Required: We are specifically in search of an individual with: Experience in Quantity Surveying. Proficient in using Microsoft office suites and other construction software Strong technical, negotiation, communication and presentation skills. A proactive and organised approach with ability to work to strict deadlines within a fast and dynamic environment. Excellent commercial acumen and interpersonal skills. Preferably have a Degree in Quantity Surveying or another Construction related speciality. Other qualifications including HND with experience considered or minimum 5 years experience in the role. Clean Driving License and access to their own vehicle. (Mileage paid)
