Cardiovascular GP Sales Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic GP Sales Representative to drive awareness, education, and prescribing adoption of
a cardiovascular product
across primary care. This role focuses on developing strong relationships with General Practitioners and primary care clinics.
Purpose of Role
To build and maintain strong relationships with General Practitioners and primary care clinics within the Munster territory. The representative will position the company's cardiovascular therapy as an effective treatment option that can complement or, where clinically appropriate, replace statins.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute a territory business plan to drive awareness and adoption of the cardiovascular therapy.
* Build trusted partnerships with GPs, practice nurses, and primary care staff.
* Deliver clear, evidence-based product presentations in line with compliance and regulatory standards.
* Identify opportunities for product growth within the cardiovascular therapeutic area.
* Monitor competitor activity and provide market intelligence to the sales and marketing teams.
* Work cross-functionally with internal colleagues to maximise territory performance.
* Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities using CRM systems.
Key Requirements
* Proven sales experience within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, ideally in cardiovascular or primary care.
* Strong clinical knowledge and ability to discuss therapy options confidently with healthcare professionals.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
* Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
* Strong business planning and organisational ability.
* Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel extensively across Munster.
Desirable
* Prior experience in cardiovascular therapy areas.
* Knowledge of the primary care environment in Ireland.
* Third-level qualification in science, business, or a related discipline.
