Overview
St Luke’s Radiation Oncology Network (SLRON) operates across three sites and is dedicated to being a world class leader in cancer treatment, patient care, research and education. The post provides a quality Social Work service to oncology inpatients and outpatients undergoing or recovering from radiotherapy and/or chemotherapy. The person appointed will work within the Health & Social Care Professions division, as part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering a coordinated approach to client care.
Location and vacancy
St Luke’s Radiation Oncology Network, St Luke’s Hospital, Rathgar, Dublin 6. One whole-time post available. A panel may be formed from this campaign for Luke’s Radiation Oncology Network from which future vacancies may be filled.
Responsibilities
* Provide a quality Social Work service to oncology inpatients and outpatients undergoing or recovering from radiotherapy and/or chemotherapy.
* Care for individuals who are planned for, during and post completion of (chemo) radiotherapy.
* Work within the Health & Social Care Professions division as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a coordinated approach to client care.

A panel may be formed from this campaign for Luke’s Radiation Oncology Network (SLRON) from which current and future vacancies of full or part-time duration may be filled.
