Procurement Specialist
The role of Procurement Specialist is a vital part of the Supply Chain Team, focusing on sourcing and purchasing international materials, logistics and expediting.
* Determine requirements and take responsibility for procurement of materials in approved quantities.
* Maintain records to reflect current open order status and expedite orders to ensure timely delivery.
* Manage tight timelines and changing priorities.
* Assist with costings for new terminal bids.
* Calculate last time buy quantities for parts approaching end of life.
* Fulfillment of sample and demo hardware requirements.
* Transaction of RMAs in Oracle system.
* Ad-hoc urgent shipment outside of Oracle.
* File and retain Proof of Delivery for all shipments of terminals.
Requirements:
* Previous purchasing or buyer experience.
* Strong systems experience preferably in Oracle.
* Proficient in computer packages and technical applications.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team member.
