Site Clerk
We are seeking an organised and proactive Site Clerk to support the day-to-day administrative operations of a busy construction site.
Reporting to the Project Manager, this role is key to ensuring smooth office operations, effective document control, and compliance across the project.
Key Responsibilities
Provide general office and site administration support
Manage stock control, ordering, and delivery tracking
Carry out clerical accounting duties including invoice processing, supplier records, timesheets, and basic cost tracking
Prepare, manage, and upload BCMS and compliance documentation
Coordinate house preparation and client handovers, including handover packs
Deliver site inductions and maintain induction records
Review and manage subcontractor safety files to ensure regulatory compliance
Maintain accurate digital and physical filing systems
Liaise with project teams, contractors, and suppliers as required
Requirements
Strong administrative and organisational skills
Previous experience in a construction or site-based role (preferred)
Knowledge of health & safety and BCMS processes
Previous clerical accounting or accounts administration experience is highly desirable
Confident communication skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Correct PPE and a commitment to site safety
