Director of Brand Activation
This is a key leadership role within the Client Excellence team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal part in leading strategic client relationships and overseeing the delivery of large-scale experiential and event marketing campaigns for prominent clients across various sectors.
1. The Director of Brand Activation will be responsible for developing and executing campaign strategies that align with clients' business objectives.
2. A strong networker, you will build and maintain trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, acting as a key point of contact and advisor.
3. You will drive account growth through proactive opportunity spotting and cross-functional collaboration with internal teams.
4. Your leadership skills will be essential in managing and mentoring a small, high-performing account team, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and excellence.
5. Seamless campaign delivery from concept to execution will be your goal, working closely with creative, strategy, and production teams.
6. You will take ownership of budgets, reporting, and profitability for assigned accounts.
7. Staying up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activity will enable you to offer innovative solutions to clients.
8. You will represent the agency in new business pitches and contribute to strategic planning.
9. Campaign activation may require occasional evening or weekend events.
The ideal candidate must have:
* Minimum 8 years' experience in account management within experiential, events, or related marketing fields.
* Proven experience in managing senior client relationships and delivering commercial growth.
* A strategic thinker with strong commercial and creative instincts.
* Demonstrated leadership ability, with experience managing and developing teams.
* Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with tight deadlines.
* Solid understanding of financial tracking and ROI analysis.
* Passionate about delivering outstanding live brand experiences.
* Culturally aware with a good grasp of the Irish events and brand activation landscape.
* Bachelor's degree in a related field (Marketing, Communications, Business) is advantageous.
