Protocol and Events Lead Post status:Specific Purpose contract Trinity College Dublin is seeking to appoint a Protocol and Events Lead in the Provosts Office on a specific-purpose basis to cover a period of maternity leave. The Protocol and Events Lead has special responsibility for events in the Provosts office. Reporting to the Director of the Provost Office and working closely with the Steward to the Provosts House, the Office Administrative Lead, and the Digital Engagement Lead, the successful candidate will be an important appointment within the Office of the Provost. The individual appointed to this role will have significant event management experience in the physical and virtual environment. They will think strategically and bring ideas for the way new and different types of events can positively impact community engagement. They will be an experienced administrator with significant knowledge about Trinitys traditions, ceremonies and College protocols, or the ability to learn about these quickly. They will be a team player and extremely reliable. This is a varied and challenging role in a fast-paced environment that demands attention to detail, initiative, discretion, an ability to manage competing priorities, and excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills. Owing to the nature of this role, flexibility in working hours will be required including some late evening and weekend work to cover special events. Salary: This appointment will be made on the Administrative 2 salary scale (€58,999-€69,325 per annum) at a point in line with current Government pay policy.
