Working within the Private Client Team
The Private Client Team are a close knit, high performing, customer centric team. Delivering a personalised insurance experience that involves taking the time to get to know our clients, understanding their insurance requirements and developing a bespoke solution that will ultimately give them peace of mind. The clients are all unique (from emerging wealth clients to global Ultra High Net Worth individuals and everything in between) which makes for very interesting working days!
Sales and Activity Management
* Participate in all Private Client functions – renewal issue, midterm client queries and new business admin working on a shared basis with the team.
* Ensure agreed processes are followed in all matters
* Manage aged debt and premium collection
* Comply with all management audit requirements
Customer Relationship Management
* Provide a concierge service and seek to deliver an elevated customer experience at every touchpoint
* Build effective relationships with our clients by establishing trust, seeking to understand their needs, providing expert advice and exceeding their expectations.
Customer Service
* Deliver a high degree of professionalism and a courteous manner whether communicating by phone or email
* Take personal responsibility for delivering the highest level of accuracy and quality in your work
* Deal with requests and enquiries from customers, staff and management in a professional and timely manner.
* Working as part of a team environment to ensure all customer needs are met
* Working together to ensure the team is on track to meet monthly and yearly targets
* Collaborating with other teams across the business who introduce new Private Clients being mindful of commercial client relationships.
Compliance
* Work with the team manager and compliance teams in ensuring that quality of file records meets prescribed standards
Requirements
* Previous experience on Private Client Team or HNW team
* Ability to work in a team environment
* Strong communication skills are essential
* Possess a positive, can‑do attitude with the ability to adapt to and embrace change
* Possess the ability to manage deadlines & prioritise workload
* Demonstrate good technical knowledge (product specific training will be provided)
* The ability to prioritise workloads and adapt to unforeseen events
* A good degree of personal organisation and a structured approach to time and resource management
Person Specification
* Previous Open I & Relay experience
* Proficient in Office, including Outlook, Word & Excel
* Friendly and courteous manner on the phone
* Ability to develop relationships with insurers and clients
* Willingness to learn & develop
* Strong work ethic
* APA or CIP qualification
