IT Support Specialist Role
Our organization is seeking a skilled IT support specialist to join our team. As an IT support officer, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support to maintain, manage, and repair IT systems.
* Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
* Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.
* Ensure compliance with cybersecurity and data protection requirements.
* Respond to service issues and requests in a timely manner.
* Provide technical support across the organization (in person and remotely).
* Set up accounts for new users and manage access controls.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot IT-related issues through data analysis.
* Repair and replace equipment as necessary.
* Test and evaluate new technology solutions.
* Collaborate with third-party technology suppliers and partners.
Requirements:
* A relevant third-level qualification in Computer Science or Computing.
* Proficiency in Linux and Windows OS environments.
* Strong project management experience.
* Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to prioritize tasks, manage workloads, and meet strict deadlines.
