Cloud Engineer
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of high-impact web applications and microservices at a leading global tech innovator. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in cloud-native technologies, including Kubernetes, Docker, and modern data tools like Snowflake.
About the Role:
Build scalable and secure web applications using Python (FastAPI/Flask).
Develop rich UI experiences using Vue.js or React.
Architect and consume RESTful APIs and microservices.
Design relational database schemas (SQL) and work with modern data tools like Snowflake.
Containerize and deploy services using Docker and Kubernetes.
Implement CI/CD pipelines and follow DevOps practices (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).
Owning performance monitoring, debugging, and production optimisation.
The Ideal Candidate:
4+ years of experience with Python backend development.
Strong skills in JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks (Vue.js or React).
Solid hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native deployments.
Experience with DevOps tools and practices (CI/CD, Git, etc.).
SQL and Snowflake knowledge for data-driven applications.
Clear understanding of RESTful architecture and microservice design patterns.
Comfortable working in a Linux/Unix environment.
Bonus Points:
Familiarity with AWS or GCP, Helm, Prometheus/Grafana, or other observability tools.
Exposure to asynchronous workflows (e.g. Celery, job queues).
Interest in AI/ML integration is a plus.
Experience modernising or refactoring older codebases.
