From €28,524 to €47,730 per year
About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Early Years Teacher to join our team in Dublin. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Early Years Education and have experience working with children with visual impairments and multiple disabilities. This sessional role involves:
* Direct Teaching: Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons to young children with visual impairments in various settings.
* Individualized Support: Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each child's needs.
* Collaboration: Work closely with parents, therapists, and other professionals.
* Assessment and Reporting: Conduct assessments, maintain records, and prepare progress reports.
* Professional Development: Continuously improve your skills in early childhood education and inclusive practices.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
* Minimum qualification: Montessori or QQI Level 6 in Childcare.
* Degree in Early Years Education is highly preferred.
Experience:
* Experience with children with visual impairments or special needs is desirable.
Skills:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organizational and time-management skills.
* Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
* High computer literacy and familiarity with relevant software.
Other:
* Eligible to work in Ireland.
* Reference checks and Garda vetting required.
* Availability for in-person interview and work in Ireland.

Terms & Conditions:
Reporting to: Manager of Early Years
Probation: 6 months with regular reviews; may be extended or ended at ChildVision's discretion.
Annual leave: 30 days
Pension scheme: Contributory scheme available.
Garda/Police Clearance: Required for work involving children or vulnerable persons, including previous residencies outside Ireland of 6+ months.
Sick Pay: Medical certification required for sickness over 3 days; weekly certificates thereafter. Examination by healthcare assessor may be required.
