Inventory Management and Coordination Specialist

The Inventory Management and Coordination Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes. This individual will be responsible for performing inventory analysis and control, purchasing, and planning activities. They will also coordinate the implementation of new and revised forms, as well as the phasing out and destruction of obsolete items and residual stock.
* This specialist will begin to build individual client relationships, utilizing their knowledge of industry systems and products to sell new or additional services. They will develop rapport by communicating accuracy, quality, and timeliness of products/services, order status, inventory, and potential issues affecting workflow schedule or Service Level Agreement (SLA).
* Participating in internal/external meetings with clients and focus groups, this specialist will plan and execute Purchase Orders (PO) to specifications while maintaining quality of work product. They will identify errors, adhere to timelines, coordinate production with outside vendors, monitor SLAs, and promote alternative products/services not previously identified in the initial order.
* This specialist will demonstrate a basic understanding of select materials and/or clients to initiate and obtain pricing/bids from vendors. They will review/track product and vendor quality, assist with the development and observation of training to educate internal and external clients about qualities of select materials.
* Notifying vendors of material discrepancies, acting as primary contact for vendor disputes, resolving client billing disputes, reconciling fees/charges, and ensuring the price quote and invoice price match.
Our ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or equivalent, typically minimum 2 years of relevant experience, and skills in print and/or warehouse inventory management. Preferred qualifications include typically minimum 4 years of relevant experience and in-depth company knowledge/experience.
