Who should apply?
This role is ideal for a newly qualified accountant (0–2 years PQE) looking to step into a commercial finance role within financial services:
ACA / ACCA qualified (Big 4 / Top 10 or relevant industry training)
Experience or exposure to financial services, leasing, or aviation clients is advantageous
Strong analytical capability with an interest in commercial finance
Excellent Excel and data analysis skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Motivated with a desire to build a career in a high-performing finance team
Role and Reporting Lines
This role sits within the commercial finance team and reports into the Finance Manager. The role will include:
FP&A – Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
Analysis – Provide high-level analysis on financial and operational performance
Business Partnering – Work with key stakeholders across finance and the wider business
Reporting – Assist in preparation of management reporting and performance insightsCommercial Support – Contribute to financial evaluation of business activities and investments
Cashflow – Support forecasting and monitoring of financial position
Process Improvement – Assist in enhancing reporting processes and systems
Exposure – Gain broad exposure to senior stakeholders and strategic initiatives
