Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Civil Engineering Quantity Surveyor on an ESB Infrastructure Project, located in Cork.
The Senior Civil QS will be responsible for day-to-day tasks including cost control, preparation of bills of quantities (BOQ), cost management, cost planning, and cost reporting.
They will also ensure project efficiency and compliance with technical and safety standards.
Qualifications
Cost Control, Cost Management, and Cost Planning skills
Experience in preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ)
Proficiency in Cost Reporting
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related fields
Professional certifications or memberships (e.g., RICS, SCSI) are beneficial
Experience in large-scale infrastructure projects is a plus.
