Job Description
Reporting to the Team Leader, you will participate in implementing the Claims Quality Assurance framework which will include comprehensive claims reviews, compiling succinct reports on findings with corrective actions documented and adherence to specific deadlines.
Job Responsibilities
* Develop and promote the QA activity and ethos within the Department.
* Conduct detailed reviews on all types of claim files.
* Identify quality and proactivity issues (including liability and indemnity) together with any regulatory or compliance issues.
* Provide meaningful commentary and observations on review findings.
* Identify and complete key themed based reviews arising from findings.
* Ensure that all targets and review deadlines are strictly adhered to.
* Complete / coordinate reporting and feedback with the relevant Claims Teams.
Education
* Minimum Leaving Certificate or equivalent.
Experience
* Previous audit experience.
Skills
* Analytical skills and a very high level of attention to detail.
* Strong reporting skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft applications.
* Strong organisation and time management skills.
* Comfortable with change and flexibility.
Competencies
* Clear understanding of risk, control and the purpose of review processes.
* Familiar with compliance requirements, legislation, and principles of QA.
* Extensive background in claims including injury claims, pre-litigation and litigation claims handling and motor/property claims.
* Familiar with claim handling processes and procedures.
