Job Summary:
The Commercial Lead will oversee a range of projects in the North West region, focusing on delivering commercial excellence across all project stages.
* Prepare and manage tender submissions and cost plans
* Conduct feasibility studies and cost estimates
* Coordinate subcontractor procurement strategy and input on risk assessment and mitigation from early stages
* Manage full commercial function from commencement through to final account
* Monitor project budgets and report on cost variances
* Administer contracts including change control, claims and variations
* Manage subcontractor accounts and payment certification
* Mentor and support junior surveyors
* Represent company in client meetings and project reviews
* Work closely with project managers and site teams to ensure commercial alignment
* Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent (Chartered status preferred)
* Minimum 6 years QS experience in a main contractor or large subcontractor environment
* Strong knowledge of Irish building contracts
* S sound commercial acumen and cost control skills
* Proficient in measurement, BoQ production, and cost reporting tools
* Excel, Cubit, etc.
* Full clean driving licence required for regional travel
