MCS Group are working with a specialist manufacturing and engineering business to recruit a Precast Design Engineer to join their growing technical team.This is an excellent opportunity to work within a highly collaborative environment delivering bespoke precast concrete solutions, with exposure to both design and production. The role will suit engineers who are keen to develop their technical skills across a varied and hands-on role.The RoleAs a Precast Design Engineer, you will be involved in the design, detailing and production support of precast concrete products, working closely with technical, production and project teams.You will;Produce detailed drawings using AutoCAD for a range of precast concrete elements and structural componentsSupport the design and fabrication of moulds for bespoke concrete productsLiaise with production, despatch and technical teams to ensure smooth delivery of projectsProvide technical support across design, manufacturing and project teamsEnsure all work is delivered in line with quality standards, specifications and Health & Safety requirementsWhat's in it for you;Excellent opportunity for candidates early in their career to build on existing knowledgeOpportunity to work on bespoke, technically interesting projectsExposure to both design and manufacturing processesThe Ideal Candidate;Qualification in Civil, Structural or Construction Engineering (HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent)Experience using AutoCAD, with Revit or BIM experience desirableBackground in design engineering, site engineering or consulting engineering environmentsFull details will be discussed upon application.Are you a Design Engineer open to new opportunities?
