General Manager's Assistant Role at Amazon Ireland Support Services Limited
About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and impeccably organized General Manager's Assistant to join our Fulfillment Center in Dublin, Baldonnell SNN4. This critical role will allow you to be creative in bringing your ideas and fun initiatives to life, working with our Operations teams and driving communication within the Fulfillment Center.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in event planning, budget management, and diary coordination. You will enjoy a varied and great range of interactions daily, managing multiple assignments while serving as point of contact for a large team.
Main Responsibilities:
* Plan and coordinate onsite employee engagement events, including competitions, celebrations, and handouts, managing associated budgets and deadlines throughout the year.
* Develop and implement site projects, working with stakeholders to deliver and promote events and campaigns.
* Manage communication channels across the Fulfillment Center, including newsletters, corporate communications, and site-specific message boards and feedback channels.
* Coordinate the site charity budget, working with central teams to embed network initiatives alongside local charity donations and campaigns.
* Oversee the network recognition programs onsite for associates and drive participation amongst leadership teams and associate populations.
* Provide diary management and travel coordination services for the leadership team, including arranging meetings and conference calls.
* Welcome and coordinate visitors on behalf of the General Manager and leadership team.
Key Qualifications:
* Demonstrable experience in event planning, budget management, and diary coordination.
* Ability to prioritize and deliver multiple assignments while serving as point of contact for a large team.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
* Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
