Our client a leader in the aviation industry is seeking a Material Program Team Leader to join their dynamic team. The Material Program Leader will be responsible for leading, motivating, and developing a team to ensure they provide high-quality service to meet set goals. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, a strong part sales & part purchasing background, and the ability to drive performance and achieve team goals. Working hours: 8.30 5.00pm mon thurs, 8.30-4.00pm fri Hybrid work available after 6 months Job Functions & Responsibilities Lead, manage, and support the USM (Used Service Material) materials team, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Monitor team performance, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews. Report out to Commercial Manager on Programs Performances. Manage Purchasing, Sales and Stock of material. Support on identification of opportunities with new products. Develop and implement strategies to improve programs to help create new revenue streams. Ensure close communication with Stakeholders in the company (e.g. quality, finance, operations) and globally (Sales and Fulfilment) Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the team and the solutions provided. Roll out Materials program strategy to optimise growth. Person Specification The candidate should essentially fulfill the following requirements: Third level education in Business, Management, or related field. Knowledge of MRO business. 5+ years in a material trading position. Entrepreneurial outlook. Ability to travel and attend Trade Shows. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle escalated issues with professionalism and tact. Proficient in using MS Office & ERP software. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to Drive Improvements & Revenue Streams. Ability to work & make decisions in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
