Job Title: Social Care Worker/Social Care Leader
Role Description:
We are seeking highly motivated and dedicated professionals to join our team as Social Care Workers and Leaders. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with children and young people, providing them with a supportive and therapeutic environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing positive attachments through relationship building, engaging the young people in the programme, and working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of holistic, trauma-informed care plans that meet the unique needs of each child or young person.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological needs are met.
* Develop and implement individualized care plans that promote positive outcomes and improve the quality of life for the children and young people in our care.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues and other agencies to ensure effective communication, coordination, and delivery of services.
* Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in social care.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote best practice in social care.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualities and qualifications:
* A full manual driving licence.
* A minimum of 6 months' experience in social care (placement experience accepted).
* Registration in the Social Care Workers Register maintained by the Social Care Workers Registration Board (CORU) or eligibility for registration (with evidence of application necessary).
* Requisite knowledge and ability for proper discharge of the duties of office.
