The project manager duties include:

* Keeping stakeholders informed of progress, cost and any other relevant issues.

* Overseeing the tender and contractor/consultant appointment process.
">
* Chairing and minuting project review meetings.
">
* Maintaining buildings, services and equipment in accordance with approved maintenance programmes.
">
* E nsuring smooth information flow between all parties to the contract.
">
* Predicting potential bottlenecks and delays and taking action to remedy them.
">
* Agreeing valuations and final accounts for contractors and consultants.
">
* Monitoring build and material quality.
">
* Ensuring contractual compliance.
">
* Assisting in front-end design planning and procurement of projects within our portfolio.
">
">
The ideal candidate will have:
">
* A Level 8 Degree in Engineering or Construction related field.
">
* A minimum of 5 years engineering experience with a contractor or consulting engineers.
">
* Knowledge of current construction contracts and procurement methodologies.
">
* A proven track record of seeing projects through to their successful completion.
">
* A valid driving licence and vehicle.
