What you'll doBecome a key part of the engineering team and help deliver on Mbryonics' aspiring goals from optical communications terminals to the underpinning manufacturing processes. Design and implement advanced control algorithms for gimbal stabilization, motion control, and target tracking. Model electro-mechanical systems and simulate control strategies using tools like MATLAB/Simulink. Design and tune control laws for rate and position loops with emphasis on stability margins, disturbance rejection, and jitter minimization. Interface with mechanical and electrical engineering teams to integrate motor, bearing, and structural dynamic models. Define and validate system-level control requirements (bandwidth, phase/gain margins, jitter, error budgets). Tune control loops and validate system behaviour through lab and field testing. Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software teams to bring robust systems to production.
