As a procurement expert, you will be responsible for sourcing and managing building materials and services for high-value construction projects.
* Place purchase orders, negotiate supplier terms, conduct price comparisons, and monitor actual costs against budget requirements.
* Source new suppliers, review tender documentation to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery options.
A strong understanding of the building materials market and the construction supply chain is essential. Proficiency in IT systems, particularly Excel and Outlook, is also required. Experience with SAP is advantageous. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are necessary to succeed in this role.
