Following significant growth and a strong forward order book, they are expanding their European operations and seeking a senior Operations / Contracts Director to drive operational excellence and lead project delivery across multiple European markets.Role OverviewThe Operations / Contracts Director will take overall responsibility for the planning, execution, and commercial performance of multiple Data Centre projects across Europe. Reporting to senior leadership, you will provide strategic direction to project teams, ensure world-class delivery standards, maintain strong client relationships, and support the company's continued growth. This role requires weekly travel to live project sites across France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, and Spain.Key ResponsibilitiesOperational LeadershipOversee end-to-end delivery of multiple Data Centre projects across EuropeLead, mentor, and support Project Managers, Site Managers, and subcontractor teamsEnsure projects are delivered safely, on programme, to specification, and within budgetDevelop and implement operational processes to support growth toward €100m+ turnoverProject & Contracts ManagementSenior oversight of contracts, commercial matters, and client agreementsReview and approve project programmes, procurement strategies, risk assessments, and budgetsEnsure compliance with contractual obligations, company policies, and applicable European regulationsOversee subcontractor performance, claims, variations, and commercial reportingClient & Stakeholder EngagementAct as senior point of contact for key Data Centre clientsBuild and maintain strong, long-term client relationships to support repeat businessRepresent the company at high-level client, consultant, and stakeholder meetings across EuropePerformance & Growth SupportWork closely with senior leadership on business development, tender reviews, and entry into new European marketsIdentify operational improvements to enhance productivity, safety, quality, and profitabilitySupport recruitment, succession planning, and team development aligned with business growthRequirementsEssentialProven experience delivering full Data Centre construction projectsStrong background in construction operations, contracts management, or senior project leadershipAbility to lead multidisciplinary teams across multiple sites and countriesStrong commercial acumen, managing project costs, risks, and marginsWillingness to travel weekly across Europe (Sun/Mon-Thu)DesirablePrevious experience on European projectsExperience scaling operations within a fast-growing construction/services businessTrack record of building long-term client relationships within the Data Centre sectorPackage€150,000-€160,000 base salary plus benefitsPerformance-based bonus schemeWeekly flights and accommodation providedRemote working on FridaysOpportunity to join a rapidly growing business with strong long-term career progression
