Director - Accounting & Finance Recruitment - Previously a Qualified Accountant
Our client is an excellent Irish Plc generating Circa €25bn revenues across all their companies and entities. Due to the complexity of the group, they require the best talent to work in finance and work in a team to manage the monthly consolidation and all the statutory requirements. This role will suit a technically capable accountant with previous audit experience.
Responsibilities:
* Complete all general ledger journal entries for corporate entities
* Review junior finance month-ends and accounting transactions
* Prepare and review monthly consolidated accounts
* Work on the management reporting pack
* Year-end reporting pack and reviewing statutory financial statements
* Liaise with the internal and external auditors
* Work closely with Treasury, Group and Tax
* Prepare Board meeting reporting requirements
* Implement efficiencies on the ERP where relevant
* Intercompany Loans, interest and accruals
* Impairment of financial assets
Ideal Candidate:
* Top 10 trained
* Qualified Accountant
* Technically competent (IFRS or FRS)
* Hard worker - Willing to go above and beyond
* Ambitious and wants a challenge
