About Us

We're a bold, ambitious B Corp period care startup on a mission to shake up the category with sustainable products people actually want to talk about. We're growing fast and, as we scale, we're looking for an adaptable, detail-oriented, and proactive Operations & Finance Administrator to support day-to-day operations, keep our finance admin running smoothly, and handle the kind of ad hoc requests that keep a startup moving forward.

The Role

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You'll work closely with the founding team and across the business to ensure processes run smoothly and nothing falls through the cracks. From managing supplier communications to processing pay runs, you'll be the engine that helps the business operate seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities

Operations

* Support the Operations Manager - be their right hand person
* Handle day-to-day operations tasks including supplier management, fulfilment management, email communications, and scheduling.
* Liaise directly with customer support to ensure any queries are handled in a timely manner with the best resolution.
* Create and maintain operational reports to support business decision-making.
* Manage ad hoc administrative requests, such as preparing presentations, sourcing props, and printing materials.
* Coordinate our period poverty initiatives.

Finance Administration

* Process pay runs accurately and on time.
* Manage invoicing, accounts receivable, and ensure timely payment chasing of aged debtors.
* Support bookkeeping, expense management, and reconciliation as needed.
* Assist with preparation of financial reports for management and external accountants.

General Administration

* Support with office and team logistics, procurement, and ad hoc project coordination.
* Take ownership of "catch-all" administrative tasks that ensure the smooth running of the company.

About You

* Highly organised and detail-oriented with excellent time management skills.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, confident liaising with suppliers and stakeholders.
* Experience working with spreadsheets, finance systems, and reporting tools. We value quick learners and enthusiasm over experience.
* Proactive problem solver who enjoys variety and thrives in a startup environment.
* 1-2 years experience in operations, finance admin, or office management is highly desirable.
