Assembling and Installing Mechanical Equipment
This is a hands-on role that involves assembling, installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical equipment used in industrial and mining environments.
The successful candidate will work to high quality and safety standards ensuring reliable and efficient plant operations.
About the Role:
1. Assemble install align dismantle mechanical equipment such as pumps conveyors crushers gearboxes valves pipework
2. Read interpret engineering drawings blueprints technical specifications
3. Perform preventive corrective maintenance on mechanical systems diagnose faults carry out repairs efficiently use hand tools power tools measuring instruments accurately
4. Carry fabricate assemble fit basic weld cut when required ensure all work complies with safety regulations company procedures;
Maintenance Requirements:
5. Mechanical aptitude strong problem-solving skills reading writing interpreting data fabrication repair fitting welding cutting using various types of materials e.g wood plastic metal steel brass iron glass ceramic ceramic composite carbon fiber laminate heat treatment;
