The Opportunity
As Head of Engineering, you’ll lead and scale a high-performing, cross-functional engineering team spanning AI, frontend, backend, QA, DevOps, and business analysis. You’ll own the full development lifecycle, build a high-performance culture, and deliver cutting-edge solutions in collaboration with product and executive leadership.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and scale a multidisciplinary engineering team.
* Own architecture, design, delivery, and operations of the product.
* Champion agile delivery (e.g. Kanban), ensuring flow, efficiency, and predictability.
* Continuously evolve technical platforms for scalability and maintainability.
* Drive best practices in code quality, security, CI/CD, and performance.
* Collaborate closely with product, design, and key stakeholders.
* Line manage and mentor engineering talent, fostering leadership across the team.
* Define and track KPIs to ensure high-quality output and operational excellence.
About You
* Proven experience as a Head of Engineering / VP Engineering / Director of Engineering in a high-growth or start-up environment.
* Strong technical background with hands-on experience in software development.
* Expertise in architecture, scalable system design, and modern infrastructure (AWS, Azure, containers, etc.).
* Demonstrated success implementing agile methodologies (ideally Kanban or Lean-based flows).
* KPI/data-driven approach to team performance and delivery.
* Strong people leader with a passion for mentorship and team development.
* Excellent communicator and strategic thinker who thrives on collaboration.
