Specifics of the Job
We are currently seeking an experienced Concrete Foreman in the Munster area who has worked extensively in construction. You will be overseeing site operations on a Reinforced concrete frame project and ensuring high level quality work and ensuring it complies with the regulations and the general and specific specifications of the project. The successful candidate will have a proven background in RC frame structures to 5+ floors and the ability to manage programme, quality, safety, and productivity on a busy live site. You will also be working closely with the site personnel to deliver the project to the highest possible standard.
Overview
Reporting to the Project Manager, the Concrete Foreman will be responsible for overseeing all general concrete work activities onsite, the successful Foreman will work closely with the site personnel to deliver projects to the highest possible standard.
Key Duties
* Supervise day-to-day site works with particular focus on reinforced concrete frame packages (foundations, vertical and horizontal elements, slabs, cores).
* Coordinate subcontractors, trades, and direct labour to meet programme and quality standards.
* Enforce health & safety on site, ensuring compliance with company and statutory requirements.
* Monitor progress, productivity, and sequencing of works, report to the Project Manager.
* Liaise with design team, engineers, and client representatives to resolve technical and buildability issues.
* Maintain accurate site records, permits, inspections, and daily reports.
Skills / Experience required for the role:
* Extensive background working in Concrete foreman roles.
* Experience with managing teams and large volumes of contractors.
* Must be capable of meeting tight time frames and deadlines.
* Strong leadership skills
* Ability to work well as part of a team
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
