Senior Quantity Surveyor – Residential – Cork – Up to €95,000 per annumAbout your new employerOne of Ireland's leaders in building quality, A-rated new homes in residential developments based in Cork, are currently looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a permanent basis.About your new jobPlan accurate and detailed cost estimates, budgets, and tender documentation for commercial projects.Direct quantity take-offs and cost planning to ensure accurate project costing.Coordinate and oversee the procurement process.Manage construction contracts, reviewing terms and conditions, assessing variations and claims, and ensuring contractual compliance.Observe project costs, analyse expenditure, and implement effective cost control measures to ensure projects are delivered within budget.Work together with the design and construction teams to identify value engineering opportunities and propose cost-effective alternatives.Provide guidance and support to junior quantity surveyors and other team members.Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure effective communication.What skill/experience you needBachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or any other relative qualification.Over 5 years' Experience working in a Quantity Surveyor position is essential.Strong commercial awareness and excellent client liaison skills.Great understanding of the residential industry.Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.Ability to work well under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines.Software Experience: CostX, EQUE2 (not essential)A full clean Irish Driver's Licence – Class B.What's on offerPermanent RoleSalary: €80,000 – €95,000 per annum (Depending on Experience)Laptop & PhonePension SchemeLife AssuranceIncome ProtectionPaid HolidaysWhat's nextApply now by clicking "Apply Now" or contact me at or Or if the job isn't quite right but you are looking for something similar, please get in touch.
