ACCPRO has been exclusively retained by a highly specialised and unique fast-growing Irish business with operations across Ireland, the UK and Europe. Due to recent PE activity, the business is seeking a recently qualified accountant to support the CFO across daily finance operations and ongoing due-diligence activity.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (0–2 years PQE), detail-driven, commercially aware, and motivated to contribute to a scaling organisation preparing for both continued organic growth and external investment.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead the daily accounting cycle, ensuring timely posting, reconciliation, and review of transactions across multiple entities.
* Maintain accurate ledgers and produce consolidated accounts and routine management reports across three jurisdictions.
* Oversee daily cash monitoring and short-term forecasting, and support weekly cash-flow reporting.
* Prepare month-end journals, balance-sheet reconciliations, variance analysis, and dependable monthly management accounts.
* Manage routine compliance activities, including VAT, payroll taxes, and statutory filings, while supporting wider regulatory requirements in Ireland, the UK, and wider Europe.
* Apply sound technical accounting treatments in day-to-day work, including inventory valuation, revenue recognition, and the use of hedging instruments.
* Contribute to continuous process improvement, streamline workflows, and support system integrations.
* Partner closely with the CFO to maintain due-diligence-ready financial data that is accurate, organised, and easily accessible.
* Support the CFO with materials for investors, auditors, and potential transactions, proactively identifying information gaps and exercising good judgement in uncertain situations.

Key Skills

* Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CPA or equivalent) with 0–2 years post-qualification experience.
* Preferably trained in practice, with audit experience and exposure to multi-entity structures.
* Strong technical accounting expertise, with a robust understanding of compliance and core financial controls. Proficiency in Excel is essential.
* Commercially astute, detail-focused, and confident collaborating with auditors, investors, and regulators.

Due to the high volume of applications received, we regret that we are unable to respond to all applications. Only those suitable for this position will be contacted.
