Contract: Full-Time, Permanent (Part-Time Options Considered)
Hours: 40 hours per week | 1 in 2 Saturdays (9am1:30pm)
Salary: Up to 65K

The Vet Office is currently seeking an experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon for a well-established, first-opinion clinic located in Co. Westmeath. This is an ideal opportunity for a confident vet who enjoys a dynamic caseload and a strong sense of teamworkno on-call required.
About the Role
The successful candidate will join a small, collaborative team dedicated to delivering high-quality care in a busy, client-focused environment. The role includes:
* Performing consultations, surgical procedures, and diagnostics
* Managing both routine and non-routine cases
* Building lasting client relationships through excellent communication
* Working alongside a supportive team to ensure seamless clinical operations
About You
This role is perfect for a vet who enjoys variety, thrives in a supportive setting, and takes pride in delivering top-tier care.
Requirements:
* Registered (or eligible to register) with the VCI by July 2025
* Minimum 12 months' experience in a small animal first-opinion setting
* Confident in routine surgeries, medical work-ups, and consultations
* A strong communicator and committed team player
