to join their team based in Headquarters situated in North Dublin.
With Divisions in plant hire, civils, rail, and demolition & construction, they are looking to add a Construction Foreman to their team, for their next period of company growth.

We are seeking a qualified and experienced
Heavy Plant Mechanic
to join our maintenance team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the inspection, diagnosis, repair, and servicing of a wide range of heavy construction plant and machinery used across our sites and depots.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of heavy plant machinery including excavators, dumpers, loaders, telehandlers, rollers, and other construction equipment.
Carry out scheduled servicing, preventative maintenance, and inspections in line with manufacturer standards.
Diagnose hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical faults using appropriate diagnostic tools and techniques.
Complete all required maintenance records and job cards accurately and promptly.
Ensure all repairs and maintenance work meet safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Perform emergency breakdown repairs both in the workshop and on-site when required.
Maintain an organised, safe, and clean work environment.
Liaise with site managers, operators, and suppliers to coordinate repairs and parts procurement.
Requirements
Qualified Heavy Plant Mechanic / Construction Plant Fitter
(National Craft Certificate or equivalent).
Proven experience working with heavy construction plant and machinery.
Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Ability to use diagnostic and testing equipment.
Full, clean
driving licence
(HGV or C1E licence advantageous).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong understanding of health and safety procedures.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable
Safe Pass
and
Manual Handling
certificates.
Familiarity with modern telematics systems (e.g., JCB LiveLink, Komatsu KOMTRAX).
Welding and fabrication experience.
Field service experience (mobile plant repairs).
