Exciting opportunity to set up a software engineering team for a scaling journey.
This is a strategic, senior leadership position which will involve building the teams, fostering a productive engineering culture, owning the strategy, technical leadership, and being the face of the engineering org to other key stakeholders in the company.
Reporting to the founders (CEO and CTO), you will have the opportunity to make a real impact in a critical function in the business, and to grow with the company.
You will be leading a cross functional software engineering org (software engineers, Dev Ops, data engineers), building a suite of interesting, technically challenging and important software products.
As the Director of Engineering, you will take ownership of all aspects of leading the software engineering organization – structuring teams, hiring and developing people, enhancing the culture, strategy, and delivering on a range of technology projects.
The ideal candidate will be a strong, experienced people manager, who is strong in technical leadership & strategy.
A track record of building or growing teams for a company that has scaled is essential.
It will suit someone who is ambitious, up for taking on a high degree of responsibility, looking for a challenging role with huge growth opportunities.
