Project Engineer Role Overview
The role of a Project Engineer involves conducting field investigations and client interviews to determine work scope and cost estimates for civil/structural projects.
This position requires a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in leading design, development, modification, evaluation, and constructability reviews of civil/structural components and processes.
Key responsibilities include planning, scheduling, and conducting phases of civil/structural engineering work, designing and developing Civil/Structural components and processes, and determining the appropriate use of structural elements.
* Ensure that detailed project plans are created and implemented, taking into account relevant Engineering Department Procedures (EDPs), design standards and guides, Bechtel Standard Application Programs (BSAPs), Design Control Check List (DCCL), and Design Review Notices (DRNs).
* Develop complex structural engineering deliverables such as steel and concrete calculations, specifications, and material requisitions.
