About the Team

The Dublin Site Operations Team leads the administrative, strategic, and operational framework of Workday's Ireland site. By building and maintaining an infrastructure, the team ensures the site thrives as a premier EMEA headquarters and a hub for R&D.

About the Role

Joining the Site Operations team and reporting to the Director of Corporate Affairs and Operations, you will occupy a high-visibility role that demands collaboration with core business functions, external partners, and government agencies. We are seeking a proactive leader to represent the Dublin site both internally and externally, driving critical initiatives that scale the business and elevate Workday's corporate profile in Ireland.

The ideal candidate navigates diverse environments with ease, moving confidently between academic circles and government forums. You should possess a "site-first" mindset—demonstrating the agility to address immediate operational needs while remaining closely aligned with long-term strategic objectives.

Site Operations is dedicated to providing the leadership and focus vital to ensure the Ireland campus mirrors Workday's global corporate vision. Beyond operational excellence, our team is central to fostering a culture of belonging and inclusion across the site.

Responsibilities include:

* Strategic Ecosystem Engagement: Proactively cultivate and sustain high-impact relationships with senior collaborators across Irish universities, government bodies (including IDA Ireland), and industry leaders to advance the AI Centre of Excellence and broader site priorities.
* Government Relations & Policy Advocacy: Design and implement comprehensive engagement strategies with government agencies to secure funding opportunities and actively influence the development of relevant public policy in Ireland.
* Academic & Research Partnerships: Lead complex, collaborative initiatives with university partners, focusing on workforce development, curriculum innovation, and joint research programs that directly support the AI Centre of Excellence.
* Strategic Alignment: Ensure all Irish site programs are aligned with Workday's corporate vision, leveraging public sector insights to help develop the strategy for the EMEA Headquarters.
* Cross-Functional Leadership: Liaise with key stakeholders and internal teams in the development, refinement, and implementation of business deliverables and strategic site projects.
* Operational Excellence: Apply industry procedures to the design, documentation, and evaluation of business processes and policies, ensuring all organizational and program objectives are met with precision.
* Corporate Representation: Represent Workday at external events, acting as a trusted primary point of contact and brand ambassador within the Irish technology ecosystem.
* Brand & Reputation Management: Collaborate with Corporate Communications and PR to amplify Workday's brand presence, social media engagement, and corporate social responsibility profile across Ireland.
* Performance Analytics & Reporting: Establish and monitor metrics for all partnership initiatives to track success, gather actionable feedback, and demonstrate clear return on investment.
* Executive Communication: Deliver clear, concise, and authoritative updates on key projects and partnerships to a diverse range of partners, from internal staff to external government agencies.
* Culture & Inclusion Integration: Partner with the Employee Life and Employee Experience teams to ensure external outreach efforts seamlessly complement Workday's internal culture of VIBE (Value Inclusion, Belonging, and Equity).

About You

Basic Qualifications:

* 5+ years experience in project or program management, defining and delivering projects or workstreams.
* Knowledge of the Irish ecosystem, including experience working with government and the Higher Education sector.

Other Qualifications:

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to lead structured meetings.
* Ability to work independently, multi-task effectively and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with general direction and guidance.
* Excellent people and leadership skills to interact with staff, colleagues and partners.
* Excellent communicator working with audiences from recent graduates to C-Suite.
* Shown ability to innovate, build networks, work optimally within organisational structures, with a focus on tangible measurable results.

Our Approach to Flexible Work

With Flex Work, we're combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote. Our approach enables our teams to deepen connections, maintain a strong community, and do their best work. We know that flexibility can take shape in many ways, so rather than a number of required days in-office each week, we simply spend at least half (50%) of our time each quarter in the office or in the field with our customers, prospects, and partners (depending on role). This means you'll have the freedom to create a flexible schedule that caters to your business, team, and personal needs, while being intentional to make the most of time spent together. Those in our remote "home office" roles also have the opportunity to come together in our offices for important moments that matter.
