Vertiv is expanding its manufacturing, engineering, and support operations in Letterkenny (Co. Donegal), Burnfoot (Co. Donegal), and Derry (Northern Ireland), creating over 200 jobs by mid‑2026 to meet AI‑driven demand. The Letterkenny site specializes in designing and manufacturing customized, pre‑fabricated modular data center buildings and power solutions.
Position Summary
We are seeking two Project Engineer Electrical Engineers to join the team.
Responsibilities
Cooperate with the design team in developing construction documentation (CD) sets.
Prepare manufacturing documentation.
Prepare Bills of Materials (BoMs) for installation material and non‑critical equipment.
Provide engineering supervision and support when equipping modules at the factory (Letterkenny).
Offer engineering support to the service team and subcontractors.
Participate in design stage reviews, provide constructive feedback, and assist with constructability reviews.
Collaborate with local service and company operations teams—project management, quality control, manufacturing, testing, and construction—to define a project deployment strategy and execute the project.

As‑Built Documentation
Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) procedures (L3)
Installation manuals
Punch list items
etc.
Communicate with other Vertiv engineering specialists to implement the best solutions.
Work with local service to improve project execution.
Provide engineering supervision and support during site construction and commissioning.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering.
At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
Proficient in Windows, MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and AutoCAD.
Modeling skills required; proficiency in Revit and EPLAN preferred.
Strong knowledge of English (minimum B2 level).

Physical & Environmental Demands
Work primarily in office with engineering support during factory integration, site construction, and commissioning.
