We are seeking a highly skilled BIM professional to join our team at CJK Electrical Limited in Dublin, Ireland. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in coordinating and modelling MEP services, with 3-5 years of experience in the construction industry and 2-3 years of MEP BIM experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Produce MEP models from base information using relevant BIM software, including P&IDs, scan of facility and point cloud data.
* Set up MEP BIM models in compliance with our standard operating procedures.
* Develop MEP BIM models throughout construction to include G.A. drawings, plans and sections as required.
* Coordinate MEP models with the models of other trades.
* Work alongside the site team and engineers to complete and incorporate as-built mark-ups for handover of the Project Information Model (PIM).
* Assign asset information to models for handover of the Asset Information Model (AIM).
* Read, interpret and understand the relationship between project-specific BIM documentation, including BEP, TIDP, EIR and responsibility matrix.
The successful candidate will be confident in their ability to carry out these duties and responsibilities on assigned projects. A recognised qualification in Building Information Modelling and a full, clean driving license are desirable but not essential.
Requirements:
* Bachelors degree in a subject related to the construction industry.
* Recognised qualification in Building Information Modelling.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in the engineering/construction industry.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience working in MEP BIM.
Candidates with junior or graduate level experience who demonstrate a drive to pursue a career in BIM will also be considered. Experience in managing and administering a common data environment (CDE) such as Procore, Dalux, V4P or ACC is beneficial but not essential.
