Job Title: Facilities Operations Director
We are seeking a visionary professional to lead the day-to-day management of our production facility.
Responsibilities include:
* Overseeing site services, utilities, support equipment, and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
* Mitigating downtime through proactive monitoring and effective issue resolution.
* Developing and implementing a robust preventative maintenance plan for plant equipment and critical building systems.
* Maintaining zero-compromise standards for Health, Safety & Environmental regulations, ensuring compliance with national and sector-specific legislation.
* Partnering with HSE teams and regulatory bodies during audits or inspections.
* Leveraging contract negotiations and managing external partners for services such as cleaning, waste, security, HVAC, and fire safety.
* Monitoring performance, KPIs, and compliance of third-party vendors.
* Preparing annual operational budgets and forecasts for facilities management, projects, and upgrades.
* Evaluating capital investments for long-term cost efficiency and value delivery.
* Oversight of facilities-related capital projects, from office or plant expansions to installation of new machinery or energy systems.
Requirements:
* A degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Industrial Operations, or a related field (desired).
* A minimum of 5 years' experience managing facilities in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial settings.
* Strong technical knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, mechanical, water, etc.).
* Experience working with regulatory frameworks (ISO, EHS, EPA, etc.).
* Excellent stakeholder engagement, team leadership, and communication skills.
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
* High proficiency with CMMS platforms and Microsoft Office.
