About the Role
SHEIN is seeking an experienced communications professional to support the delivery of its corporate communications programme across Europe, based at the company’s EMEA headquarters in Dublin. This role will play an important part in executing SHEIN’s reputation and corporate narrative across multiple European markets.
The position is suited to a hands‑on communications professional who is comfortable operating in complex and fast‑evolving environments for global brands. The successful candidate will focus on implementing clear, credible communications activity that supports business priorities and evolving regulatory expectations across the region.
Working closely with regional and global teams, the role combines strong execution, media engagement, project management, media monitoring and reporting, and stakeholder support in a fast‑moving and highly visible environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support the implementation of SHEIN’s corporate communications strategy across European markets, ensuring alignment with regional and global priorities.
Develop and deliver clear, consistent messaging on corporate, business, and reputational topics for European audiences.
Execute proactive and reactive media engagement across key European national, regional, and trade outlets; act as spokesperson when appropriate.
Lead day-to-day media monitoring across priority European markets, delivering timely alerts and summaries.
Produce regular media reporting and performance analysis, including insights, sentiment tracking, and recommendations to inform strategy.
Manage and track communications projects and campaigns from planning through execution, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met.
Support management of reputational issues, emerging risks, and sensitive topics across multiple markets.
Monitor the European media and policy landscape to flag risks and opportunities.
Contribute to crisis and issues management planning and response at a regional level.
Work closely with in-market teams and regional/global communications colleagues to ensure message consistency and timely execution.
Support development of briefing materials, Q&A’s, press materials, and internal updates as required.
Qualifications & Experience
Proven experience in a senior role in corporate communications, PR, public affairs, media relations, or related disciplines.
Strong understanding of major European media landscapes and stakeholder environments.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple markets and workstreams simultaneously.
Experience supporting senior executives on reputational or sensitive issues, ideally within a regulated or highly scrutinised sector.
Excellent writing, messaging, and narrative development skills.
Proven media relations experience with European national and business press.
Highly organised with strong attention to detail and ability to operate in fast-moving environments.
Fluency in English required; additional European languages are an advantage.
