We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to support capital project activities at our clients site.
This role involves design coordination, site execution support, and compliance oversight for a range of electrical systems in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Liaise with project stakeholders including design teams, contractors, and vendors.
* Support project execution and ensure compliance with electrical standards, specifications, and codes.
* Assist in the design and review of systems such as LV distribution, MCCs, lighting, instrumentation, generators, UPS, and fire detection.
* Monitor project schedules and work within an operational plant environment.
* Ensure installations meet project specs and follow change control procedures.
* Contribute to safety in design and site execution.
* Provide technical solutions, calculations, and drawings for client approval.
* Support qualification and handover processes to operations.
Key Requirements:
* 5+ years’ experience in an electrical engineering role.
* Strong knowledge of electrical power and instrumentation systems.
* Experience with design, testing, and installation of electrical equipment.
* Excellent project planning, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
* Familiar with project scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
* Ability to manage priorities and work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
