Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.
Job Description
This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career, including HAACP training.
Requirements
* Willingness to start QQI Level 5 in Youthwork (fees paid and delivered onsite)
* Garda Vetting
* Positive attitude and willingness to engage
* Motivated and willing to pitch in
* Early starts of 7:30am on 1-2 mornings a week
Duties
* Staffing the Youthcafé shop in mornings & evenings (7:30am – 10am & 3pm – 5pm)
* Preparing hot food in mornings
* Kitchen duties, making lunch (10am – 2pm)
* Cleaning
* Other ad hoc duties will be assigned
Work Hours and Pay
The CE scheme will require 19.5hrs of work per week. Payment is dependent on your underlying payment from the DSP but a top-up payment of €32.50 will be paid also.
