This permanent, hybrid work arrangement offers a competitive salary and benefits package to the right candidate. As a Financial Controller, you will manage day-to-day finance operations, ensure efficient payment of suppliers each week, and prepare accounts for auditors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and oversee finance operations, including managing labor budget and planning.
* Earn timely and accurate departmental margin analysis on a monthly basis.
* Analytical review reporting of key expense variances to budget/forecast, including recommendations.
* Provide business data to all branches and departments to drive enhanced net margins.
* Drive quality financial reporting and analysis to identify trends and improve performance.
* Prepare statutory returns, including VAT, PAYE, PRSI, etc., and Annual Accounts.
* Ensure Balance Sheet accounts are accurate, identifying and resolving issues promptly.
* Liaise with external auditors on the delivery of financial statement audits.
* Cooperate with external tax advisors to maintain tax compliance.
* Develop and implement strategies to maximize GP potential from seasonal supplier budgets.
* Design projects for replacing manual processes with automated systems.
* Create/Monitor/Report weekly/monthly dashboards showing Ops/Performance for SLT.
