Excel Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Rigid Truck Driver for a well-established wholesale distribution company based in Cork.This is a full-time, permanent role, with regular multidrop deliveries across Cork and surrounding areas.The ideal candidate will hold a valid C licence, CPC, and tachograph card, with previous delivery experience and strong customer service skills.Location: Cork, IrelandEmployment Type: Full-time, PermanentSalary: €180 daily rate + €13.67 tax-free subsidy allowanceKey ResponsibilitiesCarry out multidrop deliveries to wholesale and retail customers in Cork and surrounding areas.
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products while maintaining high standards of customer service.
Load, unload, and check goods against delivery dockets.
Complete all required delivery documentation accurately.
Adhere to all road safety, RSA, and company compliance requirements.
Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues.
Maintain a professional attitude representing the company to customers.
Requirements
Full, clean C Licence (Rigid).
Up-to-date CPC and Tachograph card.
Previous multidrop delivery experience preferred.
Good knowledge of Cork and surrounding areas.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to handle manual lifting and operate pallet trucks if required.
Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
