Project Scope: Greenfield & Brownfield Capital Projects
Senior Automation Project Engineers are required to support a leading biopharmaceutical manufacturer on major greenfield and brownfield capital projects in Dublin.
This role offers the opportunity to take a key position across a large‑scale greenfield development and an existing brownfield expansion. Construction is currently underway on the new facility, while site acceptance testing (SAT) is being executed on the expansion project.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with vendors and partners to define system architecture, control strategies, specifications, and operational sequences across all project phases
Maintain project schedules and documentation trackers, ensuring alignment with programme milestones
Participate in project meetings and drive effective communication across all stakeholder groups
Provide leadership across cross‑functional teams, including Construction and CQV vendors
Manage vendor relationships to ensure timely, cost‑effective delivery of automation services and upgrades
Requirements
Strong background in vendor and stakeholder management
Proven experience within biopharmaceutical or pharmaceutical manufacturing environments
10+ years’ experience working with automated control systems, ideally within Life Sciences / Pharma
Solid knowledge of GAMP software development lifecycle, ANSI/ISA‑S88 & S95 standards, and 21 CFR Part 11
