Responsibilities
* Set up and operate MIG welding equipment to fabricate and assemble metal components according to technical specifications.
* Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand welding requirements and project details.
* Perform inspections of welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
* Collaborate with engineers and other team members to enhance production processes and resolve any welding-related issues.
* Maintain and troubleshoot welding equipment to ensure optimal performance.
* Adhere to safety policies and procedures while working in the production environment.
* Document welding work completed, including adjustments made and materials used during the process.
* Participate in ongoing training to improve welding skills and keep abreast of new technologies in the field.
Requirements
* High school diploma or equivalent; welding certification in MIG processes is preferred.
* Proven experience as a MIG Welder or similar role within the manufacturing industry.
* Strong understanding of MIG welding techniques and familiarity with various metals.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately.
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality welds.
* Good physical fitness and strength, capable of handling welding equipment easily.
* Effective communication skills for collaboration with colleagues and project teams.
* Willingness to work on different projects and adapt to changing conditions.
