A South Dublin-based, leading logistics company is seeking a Business Development Manager with experience in selling Contract Logistics to the local market.
This position offers a fantastic opportunity for a results-driven professional to identify, develop, and close new business opportunities, while also managing and expanding a small portfolio of existing clients.

Responsibilities and Duties
Identify and convert new business opportunities across the Irish logistics market.
Engage potential clients through effective networking, meetings, and value-based selling.
Manage and grow a select portfolio of existing customer accounts.
Build long-term relationships with customers by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
Maintain an active and structured sales pipeline using CRM tools and data insights.
Prepare and deliver proposals, tenders, and commercial presentations.
Collaborate closely with operations and implementation teams to ensure smooth customer onboarding and service excellence.
Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to guide business strategy.
Support company objectives through teamwork, cross-selling, and knowledge sharing.
Minimum Requirements
Proven track record in sales or business development within the Irish contract logistics market (history of sales in excess of €1 million).
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify and close new business opportunities.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a customer-first approach.
Confident in building relationships and managing stakeholders at all levels.
Results-driven, proactive, and able to work independently to achieve targets.
Experience managing CRM systems and maintaining structured sales pipelines.
Good time and territory management skills with a focus on balancing acquisition and retention.
Full clean driver's licence and willingness to travel as required.
